Computers in the 1910's

 

3 companies merge to become C-T-R (Computing- Tabulating- Recording Company) the forefather of IBM. Thomas J. Watson Sr. joins C-T-R as general manager.  In 1915 he produces a sign that simply says "Think" and this becomes a famous logo for (future) IBM, and Watson is elected as "President" of the company.
